The Life of Art (1986) Written and Directed by David Wachs

Short Film. This film was a pilot for a television series; each episode featuring a story inspired by a well-known work of art. For this episode, he chose Robert Gwathmey’s 1943 serigraph, Hitchhiker. The simple and strong graphic style determined the palette of the film, which starred Mike Starr and Jim Fyfe.
